Born in Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA, Dean has always enjoyed sports. From a young age he represented his school, club and even his province playing football, softball, cricket and kickboxing.

Since engaging with Dean Ash ("Dean") in 2009, he trained myself and Nick Aldis (best known as "Gladiator Oblivion") where I have continued to train and utilise his training programmes - work permitting. As an actor our roles dictate what shape we have to obtain in order to fit or adapt to a required role, these volatile body transformations are very demanding and taxing on the body, this is where the expertise and guidance of Dean is unparalleled, he allows me to either gain weight, lose weight or build muscle in a healthy systematic approach. I strongly believe if it was not for Dean's years of knowledge I would have not had the success I have achieved when casting for certain physical roles - thanks Dean.
I trained my entire life and after 30 years in the gym I thought I knew it all. After seeing Dean at a fitness expo doing a seminar, I approached him for advice with regards to current fitness goals and transitioning my body to another level, with the thought process that this would be impossible as I'd been training and involved in fitness world most of my life. I was amazed at the changes I made whilst I competed - using his advice and workout system / regime. No body part workouts are ever the same. His knowledge and form are perfection to the third degree and his solutions to all my excuses are mastered. I'm currently 53 and I still compete and my body has matured and is still developing in ways beyond my expectations. Dean has changed my life and always on hand for guidance and direction. His a great trainer you are treated as family when you train with him.
My first encounter with Dean was whilst he was running/hosting a female training boot camp in Spain. After the first week under his guidance and strict regime, myself and twenty additional ladies had made significant progress in weight loss, improved fitness and life changing experience. I've trained under Deans dynamic improvised training system, which was utilized at home, gym, park and hotel room. This demonstrates the versatility of his training programme, this was extremely helpful as it allowed me to squeeze in training schedules in a hectic work schedule as a TV personality. His is very patient and understanding, however do not take this as a weakness as he has a zero nonsense attitude, which is required when you want top results. Highly recommend.
I've been working with Dean for the past 3 months and have seen amazing results in this short period. I have never felt stronger or healthier. Dean is passionate about fitness and it shows through the energy and enthusiasm he brings to every session. His easy going, friendly personality creates a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. He makes each workout challenging, creative and most importantly, fun! He also places a high value on correct form with each exercise. He motivates me to push past my perceived limits to get results. I have incredible energy, my balance and flexibility have improved immensely and I've gained muscles in the correct areas – well proportioned. If you are serious about changing your life for the better, Dean will lead you every step of the way.
I done a 12 week transformation with Dean but the photos below show what we achieved in 10 weeks. My discipline and efforts to reach my goals were extremely important to me and with Deans drive and knowledge I achieved my dream. He changed my life and taught me about healthier living and making better choices. I’m forever grateful.
